The original plan for a 22-storey tower (shown above) including 290 to 300 apartments centred around the Velocity Tower, along with 10,000 to 20,000 sq. ft. of office space and car parking.
Planning permission is now being sought to go up to 36 storeys - a mind-boggling 108 metres to the roof and 121 metres to the tip of the wind turbines which will be placed on the roof to provide some of the electricity for the development plus a second, smaller 22-storey tower alongside the main tower!!!
