First opened in 1828 and rebuilt in 1929, The Plough is situated on the West of Sheffield, opposite the World’s oldest football Ground – home to Hallam FC – and just 10 minutes from the beautiful Ladybower Reservoirs.

With excellent bus (51) and road links it’s easy to get to.  Local Ales, locally-sourced home-cooked food and sweets and a quiz on both Thursday and Sunday , Alan & Jan have quickly built up a reputation both for the excellent quality of the food and beers as well as an unrivalled welcome to this most characterful pub!
