Photoshop - Collaging

"Collaging" is where you introduce one or more images to create a collage. It's quite simple to do and can have some pleasing results.

1. Start with either an existing image or open a new document to the size you require (This is Image 1 in the example below).

2. Open another image (Image 2) and drag the relevant layer onto Image 1. (You may have to "link" layers, flatten an image etc.)

The result does, of course, look a bit rough. Using your Photoshop skills you would probably have cut the white background from around the clock. In our "Moving clouds" image (below) the background of the Statue of Liberty was "cut away".
