Sheffield Markets

Every year Sheffield plays host to a variety of Specialist markets including Farmers' markets,
Continental markets, Art & Craft markets and the Sheffield Christmas market.

Farmers Market

 

 

Sheffield Markets will be hosting a programme of Specialist Markets in 2008, ranging from Continental and Farmers' Markets to Craft markets.  Included in this, Sheffield markets will be providing specialist food & craft markets at many Sheffield City Council events including Sheffield Fayre and Fright Night.

 

 

The dates for the 2008 Continental markets are confirmed as:

1st - 5th May; 24th - 27th July; 30th October - 2nd November 2008.  This market will be located on Fargate (map) as normal.

During 2008, the Sheffield Farmers' Market will be located on Barkers Pool (in between John Lewis & Sheffield City Hall - map) between 10am - 4pm on the Sundays listed below:

Autumn Craft Market will be on Fargate for 24th to 26th October with the Fright Night Market  on the 26th October.  In previous years, around 40 traders have attended this market, offering all sorts of crafts, gifts and unusual items for visitors to browse and purchase.
