Sheffield Markets

Every year Sheffield plays host to a variety of Specialist markets including Farmers' markets,
Continental markets, Art & Craft markets anFarmers Marketd the Sheffield Christmas market.

Sheffield Markets will be hosting a programme of Specialist Markets in 2010, ranging from Continental and Farmers' Markets to Craft markets.  Included in this, Sheffield markets will be providing specialist food & craft markets at many Sheffield City Council events including Sheffield Fayre.

Farmers Markets - 2010

Continental Markets - 2010 (held on Fargate)

German Christmas Market 2010

At this market you will be able to experience a Bavarian style German Christmas Market with its festive sights, sounds and smells, and be able to purchase traditional Southern German food, drink and Yuletide gifts.  This market is held in the Millennium Gardens.
  • Friday 19th November to Friday 24th December

Italian Markets

At this market a whole range of authentic Italian speciality foods and products will be on offer.  These markets are held on Fargate.
  • Friday 24th & Saturday 25th September

Tunisian Souks

At this market a whole range of authentic North African speciality foods and products will be on offer.  This markets are held on Fargate.
  • Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th September

Craft Markets - 2010

The Sheffield Craft markets offer a great selection of things a little out of the ordinary, from hand made jewellery and carvings, to clothing and artwork.  There is something there for everyone and you will find the traders have a wealth of knowledge about the products they are selling. 
 
Many of the Craft markets form part of other events in parks and in Sheffield City Centre.  Dates and locations are listed below (more may be added once arrangements are confirmed):
 
  • 12th - 14th August: Summer Craft Market, Fargate
  • 9th – 30th August: Sheffield Fayre Craft Market, Norfolk Park
  • 4th – 5th September: Art in the Gardens Craft Market, Botanical Gardens
  • 29th -31st October: Autumn Craft Market & Fright Night, Fargate
  • 19th – 21st November: Christmas Lights Switch On, Fargate
  • 9th – 12th December: Sheffield Christmas Market, Fargate
