Caffétteria. 1-3 Leopold Street, S1 2GY (0114) 270 6566 Map Hot or cold beverages include premium, brand Lavazza coffee and a range of Frobishers juices , fresh smoothies and also freshly “pressed to order” orange juice. A speciality lunch menu, changed regularly, might feature fresh grilled Tiger Prawns, fillet steak or duck breast salads or sandwiches. All this can be rounded off with a Pasticceria selection followed by Lavazza Espresso coffee or a selection of Twinings tea blends. Recent comments from Italians living in Sheffield, also visitors from Italy and the Continent, suggest the Espresso coffee and lattes are considered the best in town. At lunch tasters of new snacks, Spianata, Salsiccia , Salame Milano & Bresaola etc., are provided on the counter and each table has a small plate of mixed olives and breadsticks, as an appetiser prior to meals. A drinks licence has just been provisionally granted which will enable quality chilled international beers and a carefully selected menu of Italian and other fine wines from around the world to be served in the coming months. In the spring and summer months The Caffetteria will shortly be staying open into the evenings and it is intended to provide an interesting selection of Antipasti, Tapas and other light snacks.
